Peppy Privacy Policy

What Peppy is

Peppy is a personal record-keeping and information app for compound schedules, cycles, dose calculations, vial notes, hydration tracking, and source-aware compound library reading.

Peppy is not a medical provider, pharmacy, prescriber, or clinical decision tool. The app is for information and organisation only, not medical advice.

Information you add to Peppy

You may choose to enter schedules, cycle names, compound names, dose amounts, vial details, preparation notes, taken/skipped/missed status, hydration check-ins, wellbeing notes, measurement entries, lab-panel notes, and other records you create inside the app.

Please do not add information you do not want stored on your device or, if you enable cloud backup, stored with your account.

Local-first storage

Peppy is designed to keep your personal records on your device by default. Basic use does not automatically upload your records to Peppy’s cloud service.

You can export a backup file from the app and import a valid Peppy backup when you want to move or restore records. Imported records are treated cautiously and are kept out of cloud backup unless Peppy’s cloud rules allow them.

Accounts and sign-in

If you create an account or sign in, Peppy may process account information such as your email address, sign-in provider details, account identifier, verification status, and basic profile fields you choose to save.

Peppy uses Firebase services to provide authentication, app integrity checks, and related account infrastructure.

Optional cloud backup and sync

Cloud backup and sync are optional features. They are available only where Peppy makes them available to an eligible premium user or approved preview tester.

When enabled, supported records may be backed up to Peppy’s cloud database so they can be restored or kept in sync across signed-in devices. Some record types may remain local-only where Peppy has not enabled cloud support for that feature.

If premium or preview access is no longer valid, Peppy should stop cloud backup access for that account. Records already on your device remain device-local unless you export or delete them.

Notifications

Peppy may use device notification features for reminders you configure, such as schedule reminders or supported hydration reminders.

Notification availability depends on platform support and permission settings. Web browser notifications may be limited or unavailable depending on the browser and device.

Public website and library pages

The public website at peppy.fyi provides product information, help pages, calculator demonstrations, and compound-library reading pages.

The public website is designed to be readable without entering personal schedule records. If embedded hosting or security logs are collected by infrastructure providers, they may include standard technical information such as IP address, browser details, pages requested, and timestamps.

Advertising and personalisation

The free Android version of Peppy may display advertisements supplied through Google Mobile Ads and AdMob. Active Peppy Premium subscribers do not receive advertising placements in the app.

Where a person has provided the required consent and applicable law permits it, Google and its advertising partners may use device advertising identifiers, IP address, general device information, and advertising-related activity to select or measure personalised advertising. Peppy does not send your schedules, compounds, doses, preparations, wellbeing notes, measurements, history, or other personal records to Google AdMob for advertising or ad personalisation.

Peppy shows Google’s privacy message when required by the user’s region. Users can review or change applicable advertising privacy choices in Privacy & security in the Android app. If a user does not consent, Google may serve non-personalised or limited advertising where available, or no advertising.

Support and feedback

If you contact Peppy for support or send feedback, we may receive the contact details and message content you provide, along with technical context you choose to include.

Support information is used to respond to you, investigate issues, improve the app, and maintain safety and security.

How Peppy uses information

Peppy uses information to provide the app, save and display your records, calculate values you request, operate optional cloud backup, maintain account access, troubleshoot bugs, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Peppy does not use your personal records to provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or decide which compounds you should use.

Sharing and service providers

Peppy may rely on service providers such as Firebase, Google Play, Google Mobile Ads and AdMob, app distribution, hosting, database, authentication, and security services to operate the app and website.

Peppy does not sell your personal records. Information may be disclosed if required for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or to operate the services you choose to use.

Your choices

You can choose what records you enter, whether to sign in, whether to enable optional cloud backup when available to you, whether to allow notifications, and, where available, your advertising privacy choices.

You can download an export of your records from the app. You can also delete local records in the app where deletion tools are provided. If you need help with account or cloud data, contact support through the app or the contact route provided by Peppy.

Security

Peppy uses a local-first design, validation for imports, account authentication, app integrity checks, and server-side access rules for supported cloud features.

No app or online service can guarantee perfect security. Keep your account, device, exported backup files, and upload/download links protected.

Children

Peppy is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Peppy, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

Changes to this policy

Peppy may update this privacy policy as the app, website, platform requirements, or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when this version was last revised.
