CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend
Multi peptide
ABOUT
A co-lyophilised vial pairing CJC-1295 without DAC (Modified GRF 1-29) with Ipamorelin at a fixed 1:1 ratio by mass, sold as 5 mg/5 mg or 10 mg/10 mg. It is the most common growth-hormone blend, and its ratio is a manufacturing convention rather than a studied one.

EVIDENCE OVERVIEW

WHAT THIS MEANS
Insufficient evidence. Review the research and limitations before relying on this record.
IDENTITY
HALF-LIFE
HOW IT IS THOUGHT TO WORK
The one blend here whose pairing is grounded in a documented human finding: the two components act at different receptors, GHRH and the ghrelin/GH-secretagogue receptor, and in healthy men submaximal doses of a GH-releasing peptide combined with GHRH released growth hormone synergistically rather than additively. Ipamorelin is the receptor-selective secretagogue of its class, with comparatively little effect on prolactin, ACTH and cortisol.
PHARMACOKINETICS
A fixed 1:1 ratio by mass is not 1:1 by molecule: CJC-1295 without DAC (Modified GRF 1-29) is roughly 3,368 Da against Ipamorelin's 712 Da, so a mass-equal vial delivers about 4.7 times more Ipamorelin molecules than GHRH-analogue molecules. Ipamorelin has a measured 2 h terminal half-life from an eight-subject intravenous study; the non-DAC GHRH analogue has no published human pharmacokinetic study at all, so the two are cleared on unmatched and partly unknown timescales despite being injected together.
REVIEW
PUBLISHED PAIR RECORDS
with CJC-1295 (without DAC)
Same substance taken twice: blend already contains this compoundCJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend already contains CJC-1295 (without DAC) at 5 mg per vial. Scheduling the standalone compound alongside the blend means taking it twice from two sources, and the blend's other components come with it whether or not they are wanted at that moment. This is the one exposure risk a blend creates that its individual parts do not, and it is arithmetic rather than pharmacology - the combined amount is whatever the two products add up to. Where a blend's ratio is fixed by the manufacturer, the only way to change one component's dose is to add or remove the whole vial. Peppy reports curated pharmacology, not a safety verdict. A prescriber or pharmacist should review any intended combination.

Reviewed 25 Aug 2026HUMAN EVIDENCE
No study has examined this blend as a blend. A PubMed search for the product name returns no matching literature, so everything known about it is inference from its separate components, and the effect of giving them together at a fixed ratio is uncharacterised rather than known to be additive. The synergy finding behind the pairing comes from a 1990 study of a GH-releasing peptide with GHRH, not from these two molecules at this ratio. Neither component has a trial testing a clinical outcome: Ipamorelin's published human record is a single 1999 phase 1 study in eight men, and the non-DAC GHRH analogue has none.
REPORTED EFFECTS
No safety data exists for the blend. FDA removed both CJC-1295 and ipamorelin from the Category 2 interim compounding list in September 2024 after the nominations were withdrawn, which is a procedural change rather than a safety clearance, and in October 2024 the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee reviewed ipamorelin with FDA recommending against inclusion in the 503A Bulks Regulation. Growth-hormone-releasing factors and their analogues are prohibited at all times in sport.
RESEARCH LIMITATIONS
This is a summary of a blend, not a recommendation. Its composition is given as commonly marketed and is deliberately uncited: the only places it is stated are the shops selling it, which this catalogue does not link and does not treat as evidence. Treat the amounts as unverified, and note that blends sold under one name are not standardised between suppliers. Read the mechanism, pharmacokinetic, human-evidence and reported-effect fields separately: a mechanism is not an outcome, and a combination of mechanisms is not a combination of outcomes.
